I admit I have been curious, and I have on more than one occasion decided in my mind that I was going to give Yoga a try.
I am at an impasse with my workout routine. The bottom line is I can never work up the motivation to like the gym long enough to make a difference. I am dedicated for a couple of months, and then work or life stress becomes an excuse and I skip a day, then two days, then before you know it it's been a whole week with no gym.
There are times when I still love going, and certain classes I will keep taking, but I need to try something new, preferably something relaxing. Hence, Yoga. Plus I've always wanted to do it but never had the guts. Here's the thing, if I'm going to try it, I need to really try it. So no Gold's Gym Yoga Classes. I need to find a great studio in Arlington that has beginner glasses, and a 2-3 month membership option. If you have suggestions please send them my way.
My sister insists I don't need a beginner class, I disagree; I can barely touch my toes and I don't want to fall over every 5 seconds. Not to mention I hate feeling like I am incapable of doing something well so the easier the start is the more likely I am to stick to it.
And, we all know I need all the help I can get in the calm and relaxation departments.
